Andrew Qappik is well renowned as an accomplished print artist. He was born in Nunataq and began drawing at a very young age, learning from his uncles Solomon and Imoona Karpik.

Perhaps his greatest legacy is designing the Nunavut, official logo and coat-of-arms.

Andrew's work remains a constant feature of the Pangnirtung print collection.
