Pangnirtung Community

Meaning "the place of Bull Caribou", Pangnirtuq is an Inuit hamlet of Nunavut, Canada with a population of 1,425. It is beautifully situated along the coast of Pangnirtung fjord and operates under a municipal government.

 

Pangnirtung has attained international renown for its carvings, tapestries and prints.
